ABOUT RON
Ron Roesler is an 85-year-old published author, retired Chrysler Corporation executive, community leader, and man of deep faith. As the founding chairman of Neighborhood Renaissance Incorporated — a Detroit nonprofit recognized with a 1990 Presidential Points of Light Award under President George H. W. Bush — Ron has spent a lifetime translating conviction into action. For the past three years, Ron has served as the primary caregiver for his wife Helene, who is living with Alzheimer’s disease. He writes and speaks from the midst of that journey — not as one who has arrived, but as a fellow pilgrim with hard-won wisdom and an unshakeable faith.
Ron resides at Regency on Whidbey in Oak Harbor, Washington, where he continues to write, speak, and serve.
AVAILABLE PRESENTATIONS
Creating a Living Masterpiece — 45 to 60 minutes
A faith-grounded exploration of fifteen practices — Points of Light — for living with intention, gratitude, and love. Drawn from eight decades of lived experience, this presentation reminds audiences that their life, with all its beauty and brokenness, is a masterpiece in the making.
Caregiving: When Love Matters the Most — 45 to 60 minutes
An honest, hopeful, and practical reflection on loving someone through Alzheimer’s and cognitive decline. Ron speaks not as a professional but as a fellow caregiver — with authenticity, compassion, and the quiet authority of someone living it every day.
Bearers of Light — 30 to 45 minutes
On community, connection, and the irreplaceable value of lives well lived. A call to see the good in others, speak it into existence, and pass hard-won wisdom forward to the next generation.
WHAT OTHERS SAY
“Ron wrestles with difficult questions, holds space for complexity, and seeks truth with humility…As a psychologist who has spent a lifetime studying human behavior and development, I have come to recognize certain qualities that distinguish those who merely age from those who truly grow. Ron embodies the latter.”
— Mary Ann Imkamp, Psychologist, Whidbey Island, WA
“Some of the chapters struck me as being nothing short of divinely inspired.”
— Mike Sullivan, Senior Editor, Byblio Press
